Onwards to 2018 (with some new gear)!

Choosing a new camera is tough. Much of the work we do is collaborative and scalable and so, the equipment must be as well. After many days of research and testing, the Panasonic AU-EVA1 won the day. Its a perfect balance of lightweight and flexible but produces an astounding 4k image with powerful codec under the hood.

This is the kind of goldilocks camera that pairs well with many higher end or lower end cameras. It delivers a beautiful, cinematic image and will be a powerhouse for our production suite for a few years. The EVA will work as a run and gun event and doc camera as well as a fully stocked product or brand video camera.

You'll be seeing this new camera all over the bay area, San Francisco and silicon valley next year.

2016: Year in review

As 2016 comes to a close, reflection and gratitude are top of mind. I have strived to create an agile and intimate storytelling company since 2010. Each year, I've experienced significant learning and growth and each year, the projects I've worked on have become more interesting and challenging.

2016 has been a particularly memorable year. One in which we produced more awesome content than ever before for an awesomely diverse set of clients. We produced work for Akamai, Counsyl, 826 Valencia, Pinterest, Castlight Health and with my good friends at French Press Films projects for Lookout, Ubisoft and First Republic. I'm really proud of the accomplishments and growth of 2016 and looking forward to maintaining strong relationships in 2017 as well as discovering and developing new ones in 2017.

There is so much happening in San Francisco and Silicon Valley and I feel fortunate to be able to tell the stories of innovation, diversity, and development.

Happy Holidays!
